Sleepover in Logan

Cody and I wanted to take the kids camping this weekend, but the weather just wasn't cooperating with us. It wouldn't have been bad camping in the rain if the weather were warmer, but since it wasn't, we decided to drive to Logan and have a sleepover with Heather and Dan.
We arrived right after they got home from work and we ate our dinners and headed up Logan Canyon to have a fire and roast some marshmallows. Cody was counting on finding some red pine needles to help us get a blazing fire going, but no such luck. That canyon is full of green! It took awhile with the rain and wet wood to get a roaring fire, but we all had fun and ate some tasty mallows!

Heather is due a week from today and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new nephew/cousin!
We've never slept over at Heather and Dan's before and it turned out great. There was space on the floor for everyone and Heather and I didn't bump into each other during our nightly potty runs. (Gotta love pregnant bladders!)
Saturday the guys watched World Cup while the kids played, and Heather and I ran to a couple craft stores. We had a great time and love that they live close enough to do day/overnight trips to see them.
