Cole's Blessing Day!

Yesterday was Cole's special day! He was blessed by Cody in our ward. It was so nice to have family there. My whole family minus one set of grandparents attended as well as Cody's parents and his sister. Cole was looking adorable and happy as usual.
My Mom has a tradition of make the grandkids blessing outfits, and this was the one she made for Tucker 3/1/2 years ago. Cody's Mom crochets the babies a white blessing blanket with their initials on it. It will be nice to be able to pass on these items to my kids when they are older.

Cody vs. Cole

Cody's mom found this little yellow/orange outfit that he wore as a baby and so we decided to do some comparison pictures. Cole is too big for it (we should have tried this a month ago) but he's still cute nonetheless.

They definitely both have the saggy chubby cheeks in the picture!

Cole is at the smiling stage now and we love it! He has the cutest dimples in his cheeks!

Office Website

I finally got a website for my dental practice. You can go check it out at www.parkcitydentistry.com and enjoy the handsome picture of me. Things are going great at the practice. We are busy and we have been getting great feedback from our patients. They are very happy and pleased with their experiences. So all in all, I am very grateful for all the blessings we have received because we couldn't have done all of this alone, that's for sure.

Back to Baltimore

These cute girls (and boy) are the reason I flew back to Baltimore last weekend. They are my Irish Cloggers! Each of them are awesome Irish dancers that decided to pick up clogging on the side. I was able to perform with them in a clogging number I choreographed last year. I forget how much I LOVE to perform on stage. It's so easy to smile and have fun when you are doing something you love.

This is Maureen Berry. She's the director of the Teelin School of Irish Dance, which is the company I taught for. She's amazing!
I was able to stay with one of my best friends Lis Shumway and her family while I was in town. Lis was awesome and came to my show and watched Cole during the program. She also watched Cole for me when I had some free time so that I could go shopping all by myself. What freedom!
I also stayed with our good friends the Huffs while in town. I went to my old ward in Hampstead with them. It was fun to see so many friends - it felt like I'd never left. : )
This is Tucker's cute friend Sydney. She let me sleep in her room. : )
Finally, I was able to meet up with my friend Cathy and her husband Steve. Cathy was my supervisor when I worked our first year in Maryland. It's so fun having people to go back and visit!
Cole did great on the trip. It's funny because my kids have flown so much and I didn't go on my first plane flight until I was 14. I guess it's what happens when you live far away from family. Lucky ducks!
I had an awesome time in Maryland. I had so much fun dancing again and being able to be with those girls and their families. And, I'm going to be able to go out there again in August or September to teach a workshop. It's so nice being wanted!
I did miss Cody and the kiddos, but enjoyed my time away as well. I think every Mom needs a little break every now and then. Now we are back to the grind and trying to wrap things up with our house. Assuming everything goes through with our loan (darn government makes it extremely difficult for self employed people to get loans) we'll be closing on our house the end of March and making the "big" move!

Ski day and more

The other day Lisa went in to get Aubrey after her nap and this is what she saw:
Aubrey had put her pants on her arms like a jacket, silly girl.

Also, here is a cute picture of Cole being a happy baby.

Today Lisa and I used up a couple of the free passes I got from a patient of mine. We went up to Deer Valley, and the snow was falling hard all day. We had so much powder, it was amazing.
As we pulled up to the Gondola, we got front row parking right next to the lodge. I love having every other Friday and Monday off- no crowds to fight with.

Here we are sitting next to each other on the Gondola.

This was Lisa's first time in three years and it was nice for her to shake off the rust.

I always enjoy skiing with Lisa, look at that smile!

I thought this was a cool picture of Lisa in front of the Silver Lake Lodge with the blizzard going on around us. When you were out of the wind, it was a very enjoyable storm.
It was a very fun day skiing with powder galore. I couldn't believe how soft the snow was for skiing in March. It was very far from being a "spring skiing" day. Have I mentioned how much I love my job and where we live? It's been quite the blessing for us.
oh, p.s.- the bank accepted our offer on the house and we will be moving in the first week of April. It will be the easiest move ever because we are moving directly across the cul-de-sac we are currently in. No need for a moving truck with this move. Hooray!
