Trouble!

Tucker likes to haul his toys around (today it's his Toy Story figures) in his horse trailer. I don't think the horse has been able to have a ride since we got it. : )

Stuff White People Like

I found this blog called Stuff White People Like (<- click that for the link) that is pretty funny. Living out here in Baltimore has added a different, humorous perspective to this guys list. He obviously gears the list toward liberal whites because no self respecting red neck would be caught dead desiring most of the things on this list. Beware of some of the comments though, they can be kind of crude. Scroll through and enjoy the oddities of white people!

Dancing Queen

It's been awhile since we last posted a video. Mostly due to the fact that the camera is never charged and recently because all of our tapes seem to be full. I didn't capture Aubrey in her prime dancing mode, but she's still cute! She loves music and whether we're at home, in the car or at the store and she hears music, she kicks her legs and bounces.

Boooo Baltimore!

Can I just say I think Baltimore is the most paranoid city in America. Cody is stuck in Chicago tonight because his flight was cancelled. The reason is, and I quote "Tonight: Cloudy with periods of snow after midnight. Some sleet may mix in. Low 24F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 80%. Snowfall around one inch." ONE INCH!!! How lame is that! His flight was supposed to arrive at 11:55pm. Now he has to either sleep on a cot in the airport or pay for a hotel. The earliest flight out in the morning, of course this is assuming it doesn't get cancelled, is at 6:00am, it doesn't get here until 9:30, so he already will have missed his morning patient. Lame, lame lame! I can't wait to move to a city that knows what to do with ONE INCH of snow.

Fun with Grandma

It's always fun when grandparents come to town. My mom has been spoiling the kids like a good Grandma should. Aubrey received an early birthday present that she absolutely loves! You know you'll always get something the kids like when you take them to Toys 'R Us. This morning we decided to go to Pump It Up. Aubrey wasn't a huge fan of the slide.

Tucker sure loves it though! This picture reminds me of how much I love my camera!
Tucker is trying to kick Aubrey out of the car.
I think my mom has developed some new muscles since being here. Tucker had to dunk the ball, over and over and over.
He's a pretty agile kid. I remember when I first took him to Pump It Up. He definitely couldn't climb up this wall, in fact I had a hard time getting over (I think I was 8 months pregnant though.)
We've been having a blast the past few days and my mom decided to stay the rest of the weekend. Hurray!
Cody's interview went really well in Spokane yesterday. He was able to stay with our friends Rob and Katie Leale. They graduated from dental school last May and have been great in passing along all the helpful info that I would otherwise have to research. Cody had time to check out some areas where we potentially will buy a house. I can't believe that the "end" is so near! We'll be gone in 3 months! It's crazy!

Oh and as an FYI, I'm doing really well. Tomorrow I can resume "normal" activities. Only one of my incisions hurts, and that's only sometimes. I saw my doctor yesterday and they are healing just the way they should.

Update

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Cody and I have both had the cold/flu for the past 1.5 weeks. Then to add on top of that, I've been going to the doctor to get blood tests, exams, and ultrasounds to prepare for my hospital visit last Friday. To make a very long story short, I went in to get a D&C. Nothing was found, so my doctor did a laparoscopy and it turns out I had an ectopic pregnancy that had ruptured my fallopian tube and I also had an hemorrhagic cyst on my right ovary. We're home, Grandma comes today, Cody leaves Tuesday for a job interview in Spokane and we're all recuperating well. Tucker loves to help out by making messes, just so he can vacuum them up.
We have an awesome family in our ward that gave me 5 boxes of kids books. I bought this bookshelf from Target so that the books wouldn't sit in boxes for the next 3 months.
I wouldn't let the kids be 2 little monkeys on top of Tucker's bed, so I stuck them in the crib and they had a blast!
Aubrey didn't want to be my Valentine...she caught a bit of the cold that Cody and I have been trying to get over.
I snapped this picture of Tucker right as Aubrey decided to do a somersault out of the dryer. They both still love to play in there and Tucker's always asking me to shut the door. Silly boy!

Butch Tucker

Tucker has proved that he is very observant yet again. Cody buzzes his own head with our hair clippers and I trim my bangs with our scissors. Well, Tucker decided to take it upon himself to take our kitchen scissors and apply them to his own hair. I decided to finish the job for him and even it out. After 3 fruit roll-ups and the Cars movie I finally finished. Much shorter, but still as cute as ever! (Oh and please excuse his messy face. He's two!)

Latest Creations

I have some amazing friends here in Baltimore that have shown me how to sew some awesome things. My friend Lindsey has been making these bags and selling them and giving them as presents. She's taught a bunch of different girls how to make them, so I jumped in and decided I wanted to try as well.

The above bag I made for my friend Leah for her birthday.

My good friend Kelly makes these adorable rag quilts and gives them as baby shower presents. They are so cute and easy to make. I made this one for my kids.

I made this for my friend Karen as a diaper bag. I love seeing the end product! I just made a bag for my mom over the weekend, but she hasn't received it yet, so until she gets it in the mail, I'll hold off on posting pictures.
Sorry if this post bored you. I get excited about my projects and want to show them off.
