Earlier this month we had the privilege of spending the day with one of Lisa's best friends in the world, Leah Dyer. They have been living in Texas for the past few years, so we haven't been able to see them nearly as much as we would like. They happened to be in town on May 5th, so we made an awesome evening out of it.
I made my favorite Mexican dish for Cinco de Mayo, a carne asada dinner. I even included all the yummy sides like the Mexican sodas, salsas, peppers, and dessert of tres leches. I'm hungry just looking at this photo.
Our kids had a great time playing and running around with their kids, and we had a great time catching up with them.
It was so fun to get to see them again, and we hope to do so again soon.
