Aubrey's 4th Birthday!

Aubrey celebrated her 4th birthday on Wednesday April 6th. She had previously told me that she wanted waffles with cream for breakfast - and then we added 2 candles. I told her she could have 4 candles, but she told me she only had 2 waffles, so she only needed 2 candles. : )
We started off the day with baths, a picture of her long hair and then we headed to the library for story time. I typically don't go to the library, we have a TON of books, and I really don't enjoy chasing 4 kids. I thought it would be something fun and different to do for her big day though.

Afterwards, we went to McDonald's with our friends. The kids played and had a great time.
After the 2 little boys were asleep for the afternoon I took Aubrey to get her haircut. She's wanted it short for awhile, and I kept telling her she had to wait for her birthday. We had 6 inches chopped off.
Her hair is darling now and healthy. If she's got hair like mine it'll be 6 inches longer in a year anyway! When Cody got home from work we had tacos for dinner and then she was able to open her presents. She received a princess basket for her bike with streamers and a bell, 2 puzzles and her favorite, the Costco dress up box. She loves playing dress ups and we didn't have any. Her friends would come over and they'd all wear her skirts. She was completely happy!
We had her birthday with the family last night at Chuck E Cheese. We haven't been there since Tucker's 3rd birthday when we lived in Colorado Springs. Almost all the extended family was able to make it. Cody and I arrived early so that we could save tables for our party of 22. We lucked out and got a great corner.
I think I'm pretty awesome and snatched up a City Deal earlier this week. You could buy $20 gift certificates to Chuck E Cheese for $10. I bought 2 and was also able to use a 15% off online code for city deals. $40 worth for $17. We all had pizza and the kids had tons of tokens to use.
My grandparents were able to come and I convinced them to play some Skeeball with me. I love that game, I'm not great at it, but I think it's fun. My grandpa did awesome - way better than me. Surprisingly this was their first Chuck E Cheese experience.

 Aubrey and cousin Mckenna.
Halle, Aubrey and Cole. Cole would run off the whole night, but I knew where to find him. He loved this car that would rock and roll.
Cody's Mom, sister Kristin and her boyfriend Chris. Kristin is actually taking off tomorrow to join the National Guard. We won't be seeing her for 5 months.
This is probably my favorite picture of the night. The sketch machine is so cool and we actually got a cute picture of us. Although Aubrey doesn't love it because she thinks it forgot to finish her hair.
Aubrey was completely spoiled and received Tangled, tons of dress up accessories, gardening items, and more. We are so lucky to have her in our family with her happy personality and girly ways. Thanks to all the family for coming out for her party too! We appreciate your love and support!
