Can I just say I think Baltimore is the most paranoid city in America. Cody is stuck in Chicago tonight because his flight was cancelled. The reason is, and I quote "Tonight: Cloudy with periods of snow after midnight. Some sleet may mix in. Low 24F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 80%. Snowfall around one inch." ONE INCH!!! How lame is that! His flight was supposed to arrive at 11:55pm. Now he has to either sleep on a cot in the airport or pay for a hotel. The earliest flight out in the morning, of course this is assuming it doesn't get cancelled, is at 6:00am, it doesn't get here until 9:30, so he already will have missed his morning patient. Lame, lame lame! I can't wait to move to a city that knows what to do with ONE INCH of snow.

One inch huh? I guess I better go out and buy all of the bread and milk the store can spare. Baltimore is lame. Amber said she saw on the news that BGE would be slow to get your power back on tommorrow because of icy conditions. The news anchor then suggested to go and fill up your car with gas tonight because tommorrow the pumps won't work with all of the power outages. Paranoid!

Sorry to hear about your health problems but I'm glad you're ok. That pump it up place looks like lots of fun. Your kids are lucky to have such a fun Grandma to play with!
I can totally relate to what you are dealing with...did i tell you last year how mackay was in ohio and was stranded at the airport in some ghetto town and the only way to get to his hotel was ride a bus with a bunch of guys that he thought were going to kill him and then walk ON THE FREEWAY for like half an hour at 2 a.m...i am not sugarcoating it either...yes the joys of traveling and dealing with dumb airlines and airports. last year he traveled a ton and i swear things were delayed for lame reasons like that over half the time. one time his flight was delayed because the pilot was tired...anyway, hope he made it home safe! =)
I completely understand! They are ridiculous here too with the snow thing! I guess they're just not used to the feet and feet that we experienced in Utah. It's a pain.
My sentiments exactly!!! We get most of the same storms that you get and they have canceled the schools out here the night BEFORE a storm hits. And the best part is the snow doesn't even cover the grass.
I can see canceling it for the sleet and freezing rain cause that can be dangerous.
Too bad they don't cancel Nate's shifts. Unfortunately people still get sick when it snows.
Isn't it great that at the first sign
of snow they shut everything down!
To rebuttal Cody's comment, Ruth's is a quality establishment. It doesn't feel like a chain restaurant. There is nothing wrong with a good steak! lol. How long is or was Sue in town?
