Day 4

We were really looking forward to our day 4. We planned a day trip to Isla Mujeres. It's a small island off the Cancun coast. We took a bus ride to pick up our ferry and begin our tour of Garrafon National Park.

Oh and of course there were vendors trying to sell us stuff all along the way. Cody couldn't resist trying on the Mexican luchador mask.

They have a ginormous flag of Mexico on the north side of Cancun.

The ferry ride across was a little cold and windy, but once we reached the island things were perfect.

There were many options of things to do when we reached the island. The majority of our ferry was going to swim with dolphins, which would have been fun, but not for the price and the time we would have waited in line to be able to do that. We enjoyed the dolphin show instead and then took a taxi to the south end of the island to snorkel at the national park.

I don't know why, but it seems like everything we did came with free drinks. We obviously don't drink alcohol, but sure enjoyed our free virgin drinks.

After we snorkeled for a couple hours we had the most relaxing time lounging in hammocks with drinks, laying out, and enjoying another free awesome buffet lunch.

We took a taxi back to the ferry drop off spot and took another boat to the north end of the island to do some shopping before heading back towards Cancun.

The ferry ride back was time perfectly with the sunset.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Brigham is jealous. He spent 9 months in Cancun on his mission. Some day we'll go back :)

If Cody ever quits his dentistry job, he could totally be a luchadore.
