Since I failed to take pictures on Easter and Aubrey's birthday is on Sunday I dressed her up and took her to JC Penney's to get her a "cheap" photo session. I'm glad I took these pictures before because the photographer man scared her. Not intentionally, but his tactics to get her to smile just weren't working. I've complained before about my Penney's Portraits experiences and for some reason I find myself going back over and over again. I thought to myself, Aubrey is a happy smiley girl, she'll be fine with this photo shoot. Wrong. I did order one picture, the free one, so when I get it I'll scan it and show you all. The pictures didn't turn out horribly, but they could've been better. I think I'll head over to Kiddie Kandids and the Picture People next week to get my other free photos! This is definitely the last time at this Owings Mills ghetto store.

That last picture is my favorite. She's so cute!
So sweet!! That photographer at JC Penny was always interesting. Luckily, I really like the ones here in SD. So hopefully you'll find some good ones where you guys move!
target takes really cute cheap pics if you have one by you!!!
She is just too cute! And the spitting image of her mama!
The pictures you got are absolutely adorable! Good luck on the next photoshoot-I know how tough those can be sometimes. :) Great Job on the race-I am so impressed!
I went there for easton's newborn pics and I never went back...some psycho crazy lady tried to pick up and hold my kid when he was like 3 days old when i was trying to pick out things...it freaked me out.
p.s...kiddie kandids will give you a free 8x10 for being 1...
That's too bad about JC Penny. I need to take Lucy somewhere. Have you been to the one in Columbia? Aubrey looks very cute.

OOOOOOO. She looks adorable! I haven't had good luck with JC Penny either. I usually end up doing all the work to make the kids smile (throwing marshmallows and catching them in my mouth, jumping up and down, etc. Yeah, I'm a sweaty mess by the end). Last time we had to go back 4 different times and still didn't get a decent one. Besides they took forever to print the pictures and when I went to pick them up, they were crinkled! Never again, I tell ya.
I agree, I hate JC Penney pics! And I paid for a stupid membership when we got here. I definitely haven't got my money's worth. If you feel like a drive, Target is awesome, but the closest studio is in Columbia. I try to do them every time we go to Utah, cause I really loved the ones we got at Target. I'm looking forward to getting them done there again this summer.

Well, that is good to know, cause I need to take Parker in somewhere soon. Looks like I won't be going to JC Penny. And, Aubrey is adorable.
She is really darling! I can't believe she's one...time flys. I read your blog all the time but I never get a chance to write comments because of my family's impeccable timing. Anyway before Sarah decides to eat again I just wanted to say Way to go on your half. You are just amazing Lisa. And the blossoms look incredible. Hopefully they are still in bloom and we can catch 'em some time this week.
Those are some pretty sweet pictures and by the way I really liked the cherry blossom pics. We missed it this year. We have never been able to catch it right at the peak.
